Sometimes the legal system won't teach you a lesson. Physics might step in long before they do.

Today, the Weird Things Web Theater brings you a classic story about an overburdened office worker who just happens to find a way to get a lot more from his company than a paycheck and cheap coffee. But unfortunately for him, the laws of science can be cruel and turn on you just when you think you’ve harnessed their power…

As I’m sure you know, this is not how black holes or wormholes really work. Black holes would be able to slip through even the thickest metals because they’re infinitely dense, exceeding the degeneracy pressure of any known object in the universe. However, if you get trapped inside their event horizon, you would get scrambled and pulled into the singularity. Likewise, while you’d be able to pass through a wormhole, it would also be surrounded by an event horizon which could put uneven gravitational forces on your body and spaghettify you the same way that a black hole would. Isn’t physics fun? And by fun I mean horrifyingly destructive.
